Cal Fawell

Hello! My name is Cal, and I'm a sixth-year doctoral candidate in philosophy at UNC Chapel Hill. Before that, I was an undergraduate at the University of Chicago, where I studied philosophy (and minored in math). Fall of 2024, I was a visiting student at MIT. Here's my CV. 

I work in epistemology and the philosophy of language. I'm writing a dissertation advised by James Pryor (chair), Ram Neta, Alex Worsnip, and Roger White (external, MIT).

When not doing philosophy, I enjoy woodworking, taking walks, and playing various instruments.
